Number of forest fires in Russia per day increased from 123 to 132 seats, the most complex situation remains in Siberia and the Far East, said the FFA.
The ministry said that as of Thursday, June 7, on forest land liquidated 107 fires, including three large, over the past day by fire covered 6,000 hectares, including 4,000 hectares of forest area.
"As of today, Russia has 132 forest fires, of which 128 — on forest land, four fire — in the lands of specially protected areas," — says the agency.
The most difficult situation is in the Amur Region, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tuva, and the Khabarovsk Territory. "In order to stabilize the forest fire situation introduced a state of emergency in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, Tuva, Buryatia in the same area, in the three districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in four districts of the Amur region, in nine regions of the Transbaikal," — said the FFA.
The main causes of forest fires — selhozpaly, dry lightning and careless handling of fire. Threats to settlements and no economy, the report said.
