Number of forest fires in Siberia rose a day more than doubled

Number of forest fires in Siberia for the past day has more than doubled — from 13 to 29, a wood burning in the area of 392.3 hectares, said Tuesday the Siberian Center of MOE.

The largest fire, as before, are registered in the Baikal region. Here, according to the regional GUMCHS, over the past day reported 11 forest fires, six of them were able to put out.

In the nearby Irkutsk region for the past day were six forest fires on an area of 23.6 hectares, of which eliminated four. Tuesday morning operates two forest fires on an area of 18.3 hectares.

In the Krasnoyarsk region, according to regional forest fire center, the number of wildfires has increased from five to 18 fires, the total area of 90 hectares.
