Pratt &Whitney sold a blocking stake in APC and PMZ Aviadvigatel for $ 37 million

Airports — US-based Pratt &Whitney has sold of "UK" United Engine Corporation '(APC) a blocking stake in OJSC "Perm Engine Company" (PMZ) and JSC "Aircraft Engine" for $ 37 million

As reported, the Federal Antimonopoly Service in September approved a motion to purchase APC 25.1% of PMZ and 25.06% "Aviadvigatel."

After the share repurchase Pratt &Whitney plans to complete the unification of ODC and PMZ "Aviadvigatel" into a single "NPO" Perm Motors ".

"Perm Engine Company" — Serial manufacturer of aircraft engines for civil and military aviation, industrial gas turbines for power generation and gas transport. PMZ included into "United Engine Building Corporation" — a specialized subsidiary of OJSC "UIC" Oboronprom "for engine assets.

JSC "Aircraft Engine"
— Design Bureau on the development of gas turbine engines for aircraft and industrial use, it was determined the head developer of the engine family PD-14, is part of the "United Engine Corporation."

A small clarification, that actually happened, for those who do not know. Most of these stocks have broken the delivery of Tu-204SM in Iran since U.S. Department of State through the Pratt &Whitney has blocked the deal. And now we can sell to whom we want. That is, become more independent from the influence of the outside of that to be honest is not that bad :-)
