The high level of fire danger is expected in the summer in Siberia

The highest level of fire danger is expected this summer in the south of Western Siberia, and in the east of the European part of Russia, said at a press conference on Thursday, Director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.

"In 2010, the maximum number of fires was in the European part of Russia. This year, the maximum number of fires (to be) in the south of Western Siberia, Yakutia, in the Volga region" — said Vilfand.
