President of Yakutia Yegor Borisov signed a decree on the abolition of the regional nature of the regime of emergency in 19 districts, introduced on June 18 due to wildfires, told RIA Novosti on Wednesday a representative of the government.
"Emergency mode was introduced in connection with high-class fire danger and fire difficult operating environment. Situation has stabilized, so the regime canceled," — said the official.
According to him, the regime of emergency was introduced in Amga, Aldan, Verkhnevilyuisk Vilyuisk, mining, Kobyayskom, Lena, Megino-Kangalassky, Mirny, Namsky, Neryungri, Nyurbinskaya, Olyekminsky, Suntar, Tattinsky, Ust-Aldan, Khangalassky, Ust-Maya , Churapcha areas as well as in the city of Yakutsk.
According to the department of forest relations in Yakutia, is currently in the country five raging forest fires in the area of 172 hectares. One of them is an area of 15 hectares localized.
A total of 154 people involved quenching, three tractors, five cars, three of the An-2, An-3 and Mi-8 helicopter.
