In Primorye, lost an entire lake with rare lotus

Under the city Luchegorsk Pozharsky district of Primorye disappeared Salt Lake Deep. The lake was not only a favorite of Luchegorsk, but also home to a number of rare species of molluscs and fish. On the lake also bloomed rare Komarov lotus listed in the Red Book of Russia.

In May 2007, the lake was put up for sale. Soon the lake has a new owner, entrepreneur of Arseniev. He severely restricted to the lake by local residents and fishermen.

In 2010, ecologists have found that in the lake killed mollusks and fish, and the lake level has dropped sharply. Scientists have sounded the alarm, and in December 2010, the Arbitration Court of Primorye Territory has recognized the right of ownership of the state in the salty Deep. But the plight of the lake it is not changed: the shallowing of the lake did not stop.

Rosprirodnadzor intends to apply to all authorities, to start the trial guilty of emergency.
