Number of forest fires in Russia during day increased to 269 seats — FFA

Number of forest fires in Russia over the past day has increased from 259 to 269 seats, the most complex situation remains in Siberia, the Urals and the Far East, said the FFA.

According to authorities, over the past day by fire covered 12,000 hectares, including 10.8 thousand hectares of forest area.

"As of Wednesday morning in Russia there are 269 forest fires, including 265 fires on forest land, two fires on lands protected areas (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, Buryatia), two fires on the lands of other categories (Yamal Nenets Autonomous District), "- said in a statement.

It clarifies the agency, in the Tomsk region there are 16 forest fires in the area of 9.2 hectares, in the Krasnoyarsk region are 56 forest fires in the area of 7.2 thousand hectares in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District (Yugra) — 46 fires in the area 2, 2000 hectares in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District are 36 fires in the area of 2.3 thousand hectares, in Sakhalin are 13 forest fires in the area of 4.8 thousand hectares.

According to the forecast of Roshydromet, contained in the message, the high, sometimes extreme fire danger is predicted in the Tomsk region, in parts of the Irkutsk region, in the east of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, in the north of Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk.
