Number of forest fires in Russia over the past day has decreased slightly — from 256 to 253 seats, the most difficult situation is stored in the forests of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, according to the FFA.
According to authorities, over the past day by fire covered 13.9 thousand hectares, including 10.6 thousand hectares of forest area.
"As of Thursday morning, June 28, in Russia there are 253 forest fires, including 251 fires on forest land, two fires — the lands of specially protected areas (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District)" — said agency.
It clarifies the FFA, in the Krasnoyarsk region are 75 forest fires in the area of 9.5 thousand hectares, in the Tomsk region — 18 forest fires in the area of 7.3 thousand hectares, Yamal — 32 forest fires in the area of 1.6 thousand hectares in the Khabarovsk Territory — 35 forest fires in the area of 2.8 thousand hectares.
According to the forecast of Roshydromet, contained in the message, the high fire danger is expected soon in the Krasnodar region, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, in the east of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, most of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva in the west of the Irkutsk region in eastern Yakutia, Kamchatka and southern Khabarovsk Territories, Sakhalin.
