Number of forest fires in Russia over the past day has decreased from 253 to 224 seats, the most difficult situation is stored in the forests of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, according to the Federal Forestry Agency (FFA).
"As of Friday morning in Russia there are 224 forest fires, of which 223 fires on forest land, a fire in the lands of other categories. Threats settlements and no economy," — said in a statement.
According to authorities, over the past day by fire covered 12.9 thousand hectares, including 10.2 thousand hectares of forest area.
It clarifies the FFA, in the Krasnoyarsk region are 60 forest fires in the area of 6.3 hectares, in the Tomsk region — 13 fires in the area of 7.1 thousand hectares, Yamal — 35 fires in the area of 1.4 thousand hectares in the Khabarovsk Territory — 48 fires in the area of 1.7 thousand hectares in the Sakhalin area — seven fires in the area of 1.8 hectares.
According to the forecast of Roshydromet, contained in the report, in the next three days is a high, sometimes extreme fire danger in the north of the Krasnodar Krai, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, in the east of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, most of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republic of Khakassia and Tuva, the Irkutsk region in the west, the south edge of the Khabarovsk and Kamchatka and Sakhalin.
