The Belarusian government has instructed the Ministry of Finance to carry out in the fourth quarter of 2010-2011 issue of long-term bonds in the amount of up to $ 1 billion with a maturity of at least five years and placing them abroad.
It is agreed by the Council of Ministers of number 1542, "On the issue of long-term bonds" from October 22, 2010, BelTA informs. It was made in accordance with the decree of May 13, 2010.
The resolution also approved the draft prospectus of long-term bonds Republic of Belarus and contracts related to the issuance of bonds, their placement, traffic and redemption.
In July, the country has made debut Eurobond issue to $ 600 million with a coupon rate of 8.75% and maturing in 2015. In August, there was an additional placement of Eurobonds for 400 million. Yield to maturity of these securities amounted to 8,251%.
