The total area of forest fires in the Tomsk region for the last day virtually unchanged Tuesday morning was about 8,000 acres, according to the regional GUMCHS.
According to authorities, the region Tuesday morning, there were 35 forest fires in the area of 8.016 thousand hectares, of which ten fires were located on the area of 3.017 hectares. During the day, there was eight fires in the area of 218.6 hectares, was eliminated seven fires in the area of 4.033 hectares.
"For the last day in the Russian Emergencies Ministry aircraft fire areas were committed 114 total water discharges 1.328 tons. IL-76 aircraft had made 24 relief totaling 504 tons, the Be-200 — 78 discharges a total of 704 tons, the Mi-26 made 12 discharges totaling 120 tons of water, "- said in a statement.

GUMCHS reported that the group forces involved in fire suppression, increased to 1.94 thousand people and 267 vehicles, 20 aircraft aboard, including 12 boards Emergencies Ministry.
