Area of forest fires in Siberia declined to 7.7 thousand hectares

Forest conservation service in Siberia for the past day put out 18 fires on more than three thousand acres, on Tuesday morning in the district reported 68 outbreaks in the area of 7.667 thousand hectares, according to the District Department of Forestry.

Monday morning there were 66 forest fires in the area of 9.177 hectares.

The Department notes that, given the new centers and growth of the area earlier, in general, the area of forest fires for the night in the district decreased by 1.2 times.

In the Krasnoyarsk region has now recorded 48 forest fires in the area of 3.644 hectares. According to authorities, the situation is under control, all the fires are in the aviation, rugged area of northern areas.

In the Tomsk region — 20 forest fires in the area of 4.023 hectares. The Department notes that over the past day in the fire area was reduced by almost 1.6 times. "Five forest fires in the area of 2.620 thousand hectares have been eliminated, including the two largest in the area of 2.6 thousand hectares in area Verkhneketskyi" — said in a release authority.

Throughout the territory of the Tomsk region continues to operate emergency mode, introduced on June 25.

Emergency mode is also stored on the entire territory of the Republic of Tuva, in 16 districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Special fire mode (restriction on visiting forests) is introduced in the entire territory of the Republic of Altai, in one region of the Republic of Buryatia, in 12 districts of the Irkutsk region, across the Trans-Baikal region, in two districts of the Omsk region.
