Forest conservation one day put out five wildfires in the Far East

Forest protection specialists for the last day in the Far East put out five wildfires, said on Tuesday the Department of Forestry in the Far Eastern Federal District.

"For the past day in the Far East were 12 wildfires (four in the Khabarovsk region, five in Yakutia, one in the Sakhalin region, two in Chukotka). Specialists managed to eliminate five of them, two fire has been localized," — said in a statement .

It is noted that the area of forest fires, traversed for the last day fire was 148.3 hectares. Were involved in fire 142 people, 19 vehicles, eight aircraft.
