Number of forest fires in Russia during day fell to 199 seats

Number of forest fires in Russia over the past day has decreased from 216 to 199 seats, the most difficult situation is stored in the forests of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, said the FFA.

"As of Wednesday morning in Russia there are 199 forest fires in the area of 31.1 hectares. All fires are on forest land," — said agency.

As explained in the report, in the Chelyabinsk region are 9 forest fires in the area of 16.7 thousand hectares, in the Tomsk region — 30 forest fires in the area of 7.8 thousand hectares, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory — 65 forest fires in the area of 3.9 thousand hectares, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District — 35 forest fires on an area of 1.2 hectares.

"High, places extreme fire danger is expected in Orenburg, Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, in the west of the Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia, Tuva, Kalmykia, Stavropol region in the north, 27 July in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region" — says the agency.

At present, according to the Forestry Agency, 199 paratroopers to help put out the fires in the Krasnoyarsk region, 203 paratroopers operating in the Tomsk region and 122 special forces are representative of the forest in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
