Number of forest fires in Russia over the past day has increased from 167 to 184 seats, the most difficult situation persists in the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, according to the FFA.

"As of Thursday morning, in Russia there are 184 forest fires on an area of 18.4 thousand hectares, of which 182 fires on forest lands on an area of 18.2 thousand hectares, one fire on lands of specially protected natural territories (Yamal Nenets Autonomous District) with a total area of 12 hectares, one fire on the land of reindeer pastures in the area of 122 hectares (Chukotka), "- said in a release.

It clarifies the agency, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District are 26 forest fires in the area of 1.5 hectares, in the Tomsk region — 18 fires in the area of 7.2 thousand hectares in Yakutia — 16 (2.4 thousand hectares), Sakhalin area — 2 (1.8 thousand hectares), Khabarovsk Territory — 16 (1.3 hectares) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory 47 forest fires raging in the area of 2.8 hectares.

According to forecasts of Hydrometeorology, contained in the release, in the next three days is a high, sometimes extreme fire danger in northern Kalmykia, north and south of the Astrakhan Region, Volgograd, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions, in the east of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District in the Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions, west of Krasnoyarsk region and the south-east of Yakutia.
