Glowing lake

Wonder of nature — "Neon" lake. This lake is called the Gippsland and it is located in Australia. What is unique is the lake? The uniqueness of it is that it is a miracle of nature suddenly began to glow in the dark neon light. It is an amazing and extremely rare natural phenomenon called bioluminescence. Why did it start light? Some argue that it was the result of vital activity of micro organisms living in the lake.

But in fact, the cause of the neon glow in seaweed. This type of algae is quite rare and has become food for the nutrients that are produced as a result of natural phenomena such as floods, storms and forest fires.

Nutrients into the water and cause the rapid growth of this type of algae. This type of algae — one of the few who have the ability to glow in the dark.
