More than 400 educational institutions in Nizhny Novgorod repaired to the beginning of the school year in 2013. This was reported by the director of the Education Department of the city administration Irina Tarasova during operational meeting on August 19.
According to her, this year, repairs were carried out in 426 educational institutions in the city of 537 functioning.
"To ensure trouble-free operation of buildings of educational institutions, creating a comfortable learning environment and parenting in the current year from the city budget allocated more than 350 million rubles," — said Irina Tarasova.
These funds were repaired roofs and internal life support measures were taken in preparation for the winter heating season, installed fire safety systems and appliances energy accounting, repaired wiring and drainage. In addition, 110 educational institutions are replaced by wooden window frames with plastic, designed and conducted energy certificates replacing incandescent light bulbs with energy saving.
In 2013, the schools of the city will come 111 000 754 pupils, including those in mainstream schools — 107,000 55 people.
