More than 4 thousand residents of Volgograd region, including 700 children will receive free of charge until the end of this year, high-tech medical care. For these purposes, the regional government — subject to federal support — send 330 million rubles. The money will be used to perform complex medical operations that require the use of special equipment and the latest technology. In many cases it will not just save the patient's health, but also to save his life.
Until now, such a high-tech assistance was available mainly outside the region — usually in St. Petersburg and Moscow. But now, thanks to equip hospitals and specialist training, such operations are carried out and the Volgograd clinic.
In addition, this year, the size of budget allocations for these purposes have been increased. So, from the beginning of January the necessary assistance already received more than 2 million people — and as many more doctors in hospitals will be the end of this year.
Complex operations in the Volgograd region are available in 11 public hospitals. High-tech help is on 14 different profiles, such as neuro-and cardio-vascular surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, transplantation, oncology, ophthalmology, pediatrics and other areas.
