Number of forest fires in Russia for the last day from 57 to 50 seats, the most difficult situation is stored in the forests of the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts, said the FFA.

According to authorities on Thursday, in Russia there are 50 forest fires on an area of 2.4 thousand hectares, of which 49 seats on forest land and a fire on lands of specially protected areas in the area of less than one hectare. Threats to settlements and no economy.

The most difficult situation, according to the FFA, is stored in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts. Thus, in the Krasnoyarsk region are 16 forest fires on an area of about one thousand acres, in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) — five forest fires in the area of 543 hectares in the Tomsk region — six forest fires in the area of 635 hectares.

"High, places extreme fire danger from 17 to 19 August, projected in the Murmansk region, the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Dagestan, Volgograd, Samara and Orenburg regions," — said the agency.

The main causes of forest fires are weather, selhozpaly and careless handling of fire, said the FFA.
