Number of forest fires in Russia for the last day has increased from 11 to 16 seats, the most difficult situation is in the forests of the Khabarovsk Territory, the Federal Forestry Agency (FFA).

"As of Friday morning in Russia are 16 forest fires in the area of 650 hectares, all on forest land. Six of them — in the Khabarovsk Krai in the area of 621 hectares. Detection eliminated the day 17 fires. Past day fire were covered 192 hectares , including 57 hectares of forest area, "- said the forestry department.

As noted by the FFA, to extinguish fires brought 405 people, 105 pieces of fire equipment, 8 aircraft.

According to the agency, in the coming days is expected deterioration of fire in the forests of the Siberian and Southern Federal Districts.
