Specialists put out one day in the Far East 7 wildfires

Experts of forest protection in the Far East for the last day eliminated seven natural fires to put out yet remained the same, said on Monday the Department of Forestry in the Far Eastern Federal District.

"Over the past day in the Far East there were 19 natural fires (14 in Yakutia, three in the Khabarovsk region, one in Chukotka and Kamchatka Krai). Specialists managed to eliminate seven of them, five more localized," — said in a statement.

It is noted that the area of forest fires, traversed for the last day fire was 287.5 thousand hectares. Were involved in fire 481 people, 63 pieces of equipment, four aircraft.

"As of Monday morning in the Far East continue to blaze seven wildfires. Threats settlements and no economy" — to be confirmed in a statement.
