The campaign "Adopt a tiger," declared the WWF to raise funds necessary to protect the predators that live in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk regions. "Adoptive parents" may be, anyone who will transfer to this end 25 thousand rubles. The collected funds are used to carry out anti-poaching raids, the purchase of new camera traps to study populations, restoration of the strength of ungulates in tiger habitat, support for protected areas such as national park "Call of the Tiger" in the Maritime region.

For the year of the program, "adopters" were about 200 companies and individuals, but none of them were of the littoral.

"I think the contribution of Helen is not less important than, for example, WWF gift from Leonardo DiCaprio. Because, by and large, is not so much the money, but in a worldview that has the people," — said the coordinator of the Amur branch of WWF Russian Sergey Aramilev.

Today, in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky regions inhabited by about 500 tigers. They are still threatened by fires, deforestation and poachers.
