All wildfires in Tuva, where burned 70 hectares of forest have been eliminated

All forest fires in Tuva Friday morning managed to eliminate, according to RIA Novosti Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Forestry Region Andrei Popelyaev.

Two fires occurred in Tuva this week on an area of 70 hectares. As of Thursday, both were localized.

The first fire occurred on October 22 in Tandynskom region of the republic in the Kyzyl-Arygskom precinct forest area, 12 kilometers south-east of the village Balgazyn. Its area was 30 hectares. At the time of localization — 45 hectares. Work on the fire was complicated because of the strong wind gusts of about 20 meters per second.

On Wednesday, nine kilometers south of the village of Buren-Bay-Khaak second fire was discovered on a total area of 10 hectares. As of October 25, it was located on a total area of 25 hectares

The cause of both fires was the human factor.

"Today, the fires completely eliminated. ACTION fires in Tuva not" — said Popelyaev.

Extinguishing fires contributed snowfall and freezing.
