Area of forest fires in Siberia decreased to 10 hectares

The area of forest fires in Siberia for the day fell from 61 to 10 acres, but the number of seats increased from one to four, said on Friday the district forestry department.

"In the forest lands in the regions of the Siberian Federal District has four forest fires in the area of 10 hectares in the Trans-Baikal region and the Republic of Buryatia," — said in a statement.

According to the agency, the only registered in the district on Thursday morning fire (an area 61 hectares in Transbaikalia) by now extinguished.

Of the four emerged over the past day forest fire on one area of 4 hectares in Transbaikalia localized.

The Department notes that the threats to human settlements and economic facilities in the area do not.
