More than 420 communities in nine regions of Ukraine were on Monday night without electricity due to heavy rain and wind, according to Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In particular, in the Chernigov region deenergized 176 settlements in Sumy — 92, in Kiev — 43, in the Ivano-Frankivsk — 41 in Volyn — 36, in Zhytomyr — 15, in the Transcarpathian — 12, in Chernivtsi — eight, in Ternopil — three settlements.

In addition, according to the Emergencies Ministry, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, because the last Sunday of heavy rain in the five towns partially submerged 113 private houses and 125 plots. As of Monday morning, 92 houses and 110 garden plots water has gone down. MOE units and utilities pumped the remaining water.
