More than 138 thousand people in Chechnya remained without electricity due to bad weather

More than 138 thousand people in Grozny and Shali district of Chechnya on Thursday remained without electricity due to bad weather, the chief emergency department in the region.

"Socially important facilities area with night stay of people have redundant power supplies and work in the daily routine," — said in a statement.

Rescuers specified that outage was the result of strong thunderstorms with squally wind.

At the scene of the district are staying power, representatives of "NurEnergo" and rescuers. Previously, the country had declared an emergency warning for the weather.
