"Mummy has to move to the end of July, better — in early August. Initially, we were asked not to prescribe transportation in the summer months, while standing so hot, but it turned out that the museum should open exposure to a month earlier than planned — not in October, and in September, "- said Salnikov.
According to her, one of the conditions of transfer of mummy — adherence, which museum staff RAS created for her last 20 years. Every three months, a mummy with a special solution to soak under the supervision of experienced conservators and meet strict temperature and humidity conditions. The temperature should be 18 degrees and the humidity is 40-45%, for the maintenance of such conditions in the hall of the museum will be equipped with a special isolated niche.
"Do not be so hard to restore the mummy, as it support — especially the protection of skin from fungus. "Princess" in the benign conditions, we created a grand, I hope that in the museum of Anokhin it will create conditions not worse than ours, "- said Salnikov.
The restoration of this object was about 20 years ago under the guidance of an expert of the Moscow Center for Biomedical Technology (VILAR) Vladislav Kozeltsev who participated in the mummification VI Lenin, Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Checking in November 2011 showed that over two decades of skin color and tattoos on mummified body of a woman completely preserved.
The mummy as a biological object is of world importance, stressed Salnikov, so it is important to execute the contract on transfer point mummy, which provides access to the mummies of scientists after transfer to the museum named Anokhin.
"Access to the mummy should be open to researchers. Now a lot of new techniques, especially those related to genetics, and on the same biological material can be made completely new discovery, using modern tools, "- said Salnikov.
