Krasnodar authorities on Tuesday announced a state of emergency because of the African swine fever, according to the website of the government of the region following the meeting of the Security Council.
In early July, the governor of Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev strenuous measures against ASF to avoid quarantine and therefore the ban on grain exports from the region. At that time, the last outbreak of swine fever in the Kuban were recorded in January this year.
