Kisljak — Lukashenko: Minister of charge to sign the Convention for the Protection from Enforced Disappearance

Brest human rights activist Raman Kislyak addressed to the head of the administration of the country with a letter in which he called upon to sign and submit to parliament a bill on ratification of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

According to human rights, thus Belarusian authorities demonstrate that Our country on actually aims to ensure the protection of its citizens:

"After the ratification of this document Our country will become part of the world, which extended the Convention. Therefore, the country's leader should instruct the Minister of Foreign Affairs sure to sign the convention. "

In This year, Brest City Executive Committee does not allow human rights activist Raman Kislyak hold a rally for Belarus signed the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance. It is believed to hold an event on August 30, marking the International Day of the Disappeared.
