Mexico: The 15-km-long break in Dolores Hidalgo

Geological fault reopened after heavy rains between the communities of La Grulya (La Grulla) and La Jolla (La Joya). Crack width of 4 and a depth of 60 meters.

Residents of both communities warned emergency powers last Sunday. The exact location is on a dirt road, which connects the two areas.

Talking about the problem, the fault lies with the underground cavities that area, which covers at least the community of Jamaica, Fatima, La Grulya and La Jolla, but without damage.

Sierra said that crack — a width of 4 meters, about 60 meters deep and more than 15 kilometers in length. Today the community isolated for vehicles. Can only be reached on foot or on trails in small cars.
