Russian Emergency Situations Ministry on Friday warned of extreme fire danger, which in the next day it may be in the eleven subjects of the five federal districts. "Operational forecasting of possible emergencies in the coming day will be caused … extreme fire danger in the Central, Southern, Volga, Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts (up to 11 subjects, 42 municipal districts)," — said in an operational forecast office. According to MOE, emergencies in these federal regions may cause the fifth — the highest — class of fire hazards, and strong winds of up to 25 meters per second. In addition, in eight regions of the Volga, the North Caucasus and Urals federal districts are expected failures in the energy and communications facilities, flooding low terrain, as well as activation of landslide and mudflow processes due to heavy thunderstorms. Last summer and fall of a great part of the territory of Russia flared strong natural fires caused by abnormal heat. In the 19 subjects of the federation suffered 199 settlements, 3.2 thousand houses were burned, killed 62 people. The total damage was more than 12 billion rubles. This year, the fire also cover a large area, especially in the Far East and Siberia.
