In Kaluga Austrians opened a new plant for the production of automotive components

The opening ceremony of the factory for the production of automotive components "Technoplast" the Canadian company Magna Internnational Inc held today, 28 October, at the industrial park "Grabtsevo" in Kaluga. As the correspondent of IA REGNUM News in managing media relations administration of Governor, the new venture, which is the Austrian subsidiary Magna Exteriors and Interiors, will produce bumpers, grille and front modules for the Russian car assembly plants. Has already received orders from companies "Volkswagen", "Skoda", "Peugeot-Citroen" and "Reno."

The factory is equipped with high-tech equipment, providing the highest level of product quality and safety and environmental protection. Currently, it employs 200 people. In the future, companies with access to full capacity in 2012, the number had increased to 340 people.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor of the Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov called the event an important step in the development of the automotive industry in the region, as well as a prime example of lasting cooperation Kaluga region and Austria in the economic sphere.
