In Kandalaksha invented an economical reactor biofuel extracted from plants

According to the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Murmansk region, the author of this invention — businessman Sergei Kolovanov, at a camp site which has constant power outages. In order to overcome the difficulties, Sergei first came up with the installation, which runs on manure, but now modernized it.

At home the reactor initially lay dung, which produced methane-bacteria. They produce a combustible gas in the fermentation process, but for this they need the extra ingredients. Sergei Kolovanov came up that it is better suited tropical plants. For example, according to his estimations, water hyacinth should give more biogas.

Water hyacinth is rapidly gaining weight and this month increased by 50 times. It remains finely chopped, put into the reactor and start the process of fermentation. The reactor at such plants can generate about 0.5 megawatt-hours of electricity. Production of energy in this way is 10 times cheaper than using oil, because nothing but fertilizer for exotic plants that do not need it. The machine can provide electricity year-round tourist center.
Under the long-term target program "Energy saving and energy efficiency in the Murmansk region" for 2010-2015 and until 2020 developed a feasibility study utilization of agricultural wastes to produce heat, electricity and biofuels.

Based on the feasibility study of ZAO "ROSDIAGNOSTIKA" together with "Pianga RUS" offered to equip a special unit for production of biofuels from agricultural waste produced by "Poultry" Murmansk "extra-budgetary funds. Now there is the conclusion of contracts between investors and poultry factory "Murmansk".
