Emergencies Ministry warns of possible heavy snow and gusty winds to the Central Federal District and in some regions of the Far East.
"In the Central Federal District, as well as in Primorye and the Amur region predicted heavy snowfall, which could complicate the situation on the roads lead to snow drifts and congestion", — told reporters on Tuesday, the official representative of Russian Emergencies Ministry, Irina Rossius.
Therefore MOE recommends drivers traveling long distances, take the necessary supplies of food, water and fuel. In addition, the Emergency Situations Ministry asking car owners to comply with all signs and traffic police and recommendations with respect to each other.
As specified in the Information Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, in the Central Federal District in Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Smolensk, Orel, Moscow region and Moscow is expected wet snow with wind gusts up to 20 meters per second.
"Weather with strong wind and precipitation in the form of wet snow will be in the Leningrad region.
