Information that the mine "Pioneer" — one of the largest gold companies in the region, burst a dam storage cyanide solution, appeared on the Internet last week. On this fact the responsible supervisory authorities audited.

"All of the samples taken were found negative for cyanide. Contents below acceptable standards. Dam itself is not damaged. Mine "Pioneer" is part of the group of companies "Petropavlovsk". The group is the second-largest gold production among Russian companies. The main assets are located in the Amur region, which operates four mining and hydrometallurgical plant, "Pokrovsky Rudnik", "Pioneer", "Malomyr" and "Albyn."
