The Soviet probes may have photographed the living beings on Venus

The pictures taken on Venus in the 1980s by Soviet landing probes, there are moving objects may have "properties of living beings," said the chief researcher at the Institute of Space Research Leonid Ksanfomaliti.

"Found appearing, disappearing or changing objects of notable size, from decimeter to half a meter, the random occurrence of image noise due to which it is difficult to explain," — he wrote in an article published by "the way of discussion" books "Solar System Research."

In the 1970s and 1980s, Soviet scientists carried out a series of successful missions to study Venus, during which they received the first-ever pictures of its surface, invisible from Earth because of the constant dense cloud cover in the atmosphere of the planet. Devices "Venera 9" and "Venus-10" in 1975, followed by "Venera-13" and "Venera-14" in 1982, received a series of television panoramas of Venus by means of scanning photometric camera optical-mechanical type.

According to the author, the impetus for a new attempt to analyze the results of previous Venus missions became a "vast stream of new research findings of moderate mass exoplanets, including the need to meet the body and the physical conditions close to the Venusian."

The scientist recalls that since 1995, was discovered more than 500 planets around other stars. Search for planets where life is possible, is based on the postulate of the normal physical conditions in the area of "life" that is, pressure, temperature, possibly composition of the atmosphere, like Earth.

"But should not consider such an approach as" chauvinism of the earth? "In other words, a completely exclude the possibility that life forms can exist under completely different conditions inherent in many extrasolar planets?" — Asks Ksanfomaliti.

In his opinion, should not be completely ruled out the possibility of life at relatively high temperatures, despite the fact that the experimental data of this kind yet.

In his article, the researchers analyzed the images with the "Venus-13" and "Venera-14", most of his attention was attracted nine panoramas with "Venus-13," passed March 1, 1982 for two hours, six minutes. On these panoramas Ksanfomaliti found several objects that appear and disappear on a series of consecutive shots.

"Scorpion" in the picture with the "Venus-13"

Among them — the "drive" that changes its form, a "black flap" which appeared in the first picture from the cone to measure the mechanical properties of the soil, and then disappeared, as well as the "Scorpion" in its structure resembles a large terrestrial arachnids and insects.

In particular, the "scorpion" appeared around the 90th minute after the camera is turned on and after 26 minutes it was gone, and in its place there was a groove in the ground.

According to the hypothesis Ksanfomaliti, first lander published a lot of noise — were shot squibs, worked rig. Part of the "residents" left the danger area, and there are none on the following pictures, but some of them (eg, "scorpion") sleep thrown at planting soil, and slowly they were chosen out of it, which explains the half-hour delay in their appearance.

"Without discussing current ideas about the impossibility of life in Venus, make a bold assumption that the morphological characters still suggests that part of the found object has the properties of living beings," — says the scientist.

He notes that in his article does not include other similar materials obtained in the analysis of data from the "Venus-13" and other series devices, "Venus", the scientist who plans to publish separately.
