In the depot delivered 1,714 units of the latest technological equipment. Its capacity has increased from 350 to 1,300 passenger cars per year (4 times the previous volume), making it the largest depot in Russia.

In the depot also introduced modern technology troubleshooting and repair of cars, which will ensure operational reliability and complete safety for passengers. The plant will be used unique automated process control system repair, which will provide a full cycle of operations.

After the release of the passenger train depot Mineral Waters at full capacity in the 1st quarter of 2014 will be optimized production capacity of "FIC".

In addition, a unified depot repair facility for the new two-story rolling stock.

The first train, consisting of a double-decker cars will run since November 1, 2013 in the message Moscow — Adler.

The cars of the new generation are created using the latest technologies, equipment and materials, and are designed for operation in areas of electrified railway track gauge of 1520 mm.

The fare on the double-decker trains plying on the route Moscow — Adler — Moscow, down 22% compared to the one-story train cars in the class "Coupe" and "SW".
