About 2.5 million cubic meters of snow removed from the streets of Moscow for four days

About 2.5 million cubic meters of snow removed from the streets of Moscow for the last four days, told reporters on Monday, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Public Works Pyotr Biryukov.

"For four days snegosplavnyh item was disposed of about 2.5 million cubic meters of snow. On his last day all 550 thousand cubic meters, which are designed for our snegosplavy were loaded," — said Biryukov.

According to him, at present the average daily temperature in the capital, seven degrees below normal, so it has to clean up in a rather extreme conditions. Deputy mayor also asked motorists to comply with traffic rules, and do not park their cars in the wrong places, because they interfere with the cleaning of the streets.

The official stressed that the yard area and sidewalks in Moscow cleaned of snow continuously.
