Brazilian Renan Bressan got Belarusian citizenship

22-year-old Brazilian midfielder of FC BATE Borisov Renan Bressan became a citizen of Belarus.

As the BelaPAN referring to the chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation Gennady Nyavyhlas corresponding decree was signed yesterday by Alexander Lukashenko.

In This year, Bressan voted the best player in the championship of Belarus. He was also the first in the categories "Best Scorer" (15 balls) and "Best Midfielder".

To play for Belarus, Bressan has to play for local clubs for five years. Belarusian Brazilian stage career began in 2007 in Gomel, and after the 2009 season when the team was eliminated in the first league, joined BATE.

In 2009from Bressan said he is ready to play for the national team, and head coach Bernd Stange confirmed that the player is willing to consider as a candidate for the national team provided he Belarusian citizenship.
