On August 10, "Rossetti" has commissioned an updated high-tech substation 220 kV "Nina" in Nizhny Novgorod, which should be one of the key sources of future supply facilities of the World Cup in 2018

"Nina" is the main supply center Zarechnoj of Nizhny Novgorod. Power object moving away from power lines 17 6-220 kV. It provides electricity to consumers Lenin, Avtozavodsky Sormovskogo and Nizhny Novgorod regions, such large consumers as Gorky Automobile Plant, Heat Exchanger, Inc. "DIA" and objects of Railways.
The event was attended by Minister of Housing and Energy of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Ulyanov, deputy generalnogodirektora for Capital Construction of "Rossetti" Sergey Sergeyev, the management of the branch of OAO "UES FGC" — Trunk Power Grids (MEA) of the Volga and others. The guests toured the new facility and visited the building of complete распределительногоустройства gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) 220 kV.
Deputy General Director of JSC "Rossetti" Sergei Sergeyev thanked everyone for their cooperation, which resulted in the launch of the reconstructed substation in Nizhny Novgorod. In particular, he noted that the substation Nina — an innovative next-generation power facility, equipped with the most modern equipment. "Putting it into work will give a new impetus to the development of the city and the region, improve the reliability of power supply to the existing customers and create the conditions for new connections," — he stressed.
Reconstruction of power was carried out under the investment program of OAO "UES FGC" (part of the group of companies "Rossetti"), the amount of investments made investments which amounted to more than 2 billion rubles.
In the complex reconstruction at the site, located on the territory of the existing substation, built a new modern, highly reliable power facility closed. Installed and put into operation equipment switchgear 110 kV and 220 kV, indoor switchgear (ISG) 10 kV, two auto-transformer with total capacity of 400 MVA, the new building of substation control. The substation is equipped with modern microprocessor-based relay protection and automation, automated process control system (PCS), a complex of modern communication systems and video surveillance systems.
