In Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk region). Launched a new 110 kV substation Prirechnaya

In Nizhny Tagil put into operation a new modern 110/6 kV "Prirechnaya." Power facility was built as part of the investment program of the branch of JSC "IDGC of Urals" — "Sverdlovenergo" in 2012.

This is the first in Nizhny Tagil substation closed. All of its equipment — two power transformers of 25 megavoltamper each switchgear 110 kV and 6 kV — located inside the building, which allows for greater reliability. It summed up the new substation and two new 110 kV transmission lines with total length of 6 kilometers. Two input power — a guarantee of uninterrupted and reliable power supply Nizhny Tagil.

The volume of investments of the branch of JSC "IDGC of Urals" — "Urals", in the construction of 110/6 kV "Prirechnaya" amounted to more than 600 million rubles.

With the launch of the substation completely solved the problem of shortage of generating capacity in the central part of the city and in the neighborhood of Red Rock with a population of more than one hundred thousand people. Previously, this area was powered by a substation "Red Rock", which has been in operation for more than 50 years. This food center has exhausted its technological capabilities in the mid nineties. Now in Nizhny Tagil opportunity to connect new customers to the total declared capacity — more than 9 megawatts.
