Lukashenka: Poland will not see Western Belarus as their ears

MINSK, October 3. Poland has seen Western Belarus in its composition "as their own ears." According to the "Regnum", said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, commenting on the results of last September 29-30 in Warsaw summit of "Eastern Partnership".

"Well itching Poles! You know, now they are itching to do! That is no secret for you: here the western boundary we should pass near Minsk. Nothing less, nothing more. And figures such as Sikorski (Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski) — in front of him "Eastern Kresy." Well into the account that I want to say their attempts by hook or by crook, we chop off a part of Western Belarus, so long as I live and exist here as the president of the country — they do not see as their own ears, "- said Lukashenko.

"Our country is united, integral and indivisible. And to push us through the fifth column, is through their individual "pravadyrou" (chiefs, leaders) — will not work. They "Polish Charter 'introduced what they just do! But our Poles want to live in Belarus. If they wanted to live in Poland — they would have already moved there. They live here normally, and they will live — our citizens, it is our Poles, their order of 300,000. We treat them (and myself) as to Belarusians. Therefore, here it is not possible to drive a wedge. So began to break, "- said Lukashenko, describing the background of tension between Warsaw and Minsk.

"So, I was informed that the Germans occupied obscure position. You see, I was most offended: and im itching to do then what? What are they itching? Poles and they also impose such requirements on certain lands. Let us speak frankly: we Germans have still so much that there will be enough for politicians of modern Germany time to pay for what happened in the past century? "- Said the head of Belarus.

Recall that began Sept. 29 summit of "Eastern Partnership" in Warsaw held without the participation of the official delegation of Belarus, but with the participation of the Belarusian opposition. The summit adopted a declaration of the EU countries, condemning Belarus for human rights violations. The countries of the "Eastern Partnership" refused to support this initiative the EU.
