In JSC Uralkhimmash successfully tested a new-generation cell

December 14. The specialists of "Uralkhimmash" together with the engineering company "ASK Technology" (Moscow) developed new modular electrolysis station NSS-10 for the production of hydrogen by electrolysis of water, and are in compliance with the requirements of this equipment. Pilot sample of the electrolysis plant's modular — EFM-10 successfully passed factory tests.

In contrast to the SPP, the previous generation of plants, electrolysis station NSS-10 is fully automated, there is the possibility of remote control and monitoring of the equipment from the remote PC.

Currently, the novelty introduced into mass industrial production: in the shop number 11 produced two sets of electrolysis plants ESM-10 / 1,0 M for under construction Yuzhnouralskaya GRES-2 JSC "OGK-3".

The electrolysis plant type ESM are designed to produce hydrogen by electrolysis of water to cool the windings of generators operated at thermal and nuclear power plants.
Electrolysis station is made in block form, which allows to minimize installation work at customer site. NSS-10 is composed of four modules: the block feeding and preparation of electrolyte, electrolysis unit, cleaning unit and the drying gas, the power supply and automatic control. In the design of the facility applies the latest developments and know-how with the use of advanced composite materials to improve reliability, reduce operational costs. In this case, all the innovations ensure easy operation of the plant.

Overall dimensions of the blocks allow you to place the installation on the customer's premises without the construction of a separate building electrolysis.
