In Petrozavodsk (Karelia) station opened ultraviolet water disinfection

On June 29 the wastewater treatment plant was opened in Petrozavodsk station ultraviolet disinfection. Construction of the plant was carried out in the framework of the investment project Petrozavodsk municipal systems — "Construction and reconstruction of BOC Petrozavodsk 2-stage."

The first unit start-up complex water treatment facilities was introduced in the capital of Karelia in 2010, which allowed the move to a two-stage water purification. The station ultraviolet disinfection system will improve the drinking water of disease-causing microorganisms.

Currently under construction in Petrozavodsk complex structures for processing wash water. New complex will increase the reliability of cleaning water, which cleans the filters clean, and then returned to the headend facilities.
