In St. Petersburg kicked off the Sixth International Maritime Defence Show (MBMC-2013)

MBMC-2013, held every two years, began today in St. Petersburg on Wednesday, July 3, and will run until July 7. Permament exhibition section will be located in the four pavilions of the exhibition complex "Fairgrounds" total area of over 17,000 square meters, the outdoor area and the Gulf of Finland, and at the quays of the Maritime Station. 

Currently there are 458 participants in the cabin, 89 of them — foreign companies from 30 countries. Confirmed the arrival of 71 official delegations from 50 countries.

In the harbor of Vasilevsky Island already moored Russian flotilla: patrol ship (corvette), "Courageous", small artillery ship "Makhachkala" anti-seal cutter "Rook" landing craft "Serna", hydrographic survey vessel "Vaygach" and "GS-525" as well as a small hydrographic boat "CIM-403." On review of naval equipment came and foreign ships: Dutch diesel-electric submarine "Dolphin", the Dutch frigate "Everts" and the Polish Navy hydrographic vessel "Arctowski."
On opening the cabin USC is more than 40 projects — both military and civilian: submarines, frigates, corvettes, patrol ships, ship cranes, transports for offshore operations. The business program — talks with 40 foreign delegations.
