December 21 branch of JSC "MRSC of Urals" "PermEnergo" included in the work of the new substation "Willow" in Motovilikhinsky region of Perm. Substation capacity of 50 MW built in the investment program of the branch. Its cost was about 386.5 million rubles.
Substation "Willow" was built as part of the agreement between JSC "IDGC of Urals" and the Government of the Perm region. Energy facility is a closed-end substation, which is equipped with high-tech, modern electrical equipment of leading domestic and foreign manufacturers.
"Willow" was built, along with two 110 kV cable lines stretching almost 2 km each. In practice, "PermEnergo" laying cable 110 kV transmission line previously carried only twice: in 2008, 110 kV cable was used in the construction of the line "Valley — Coast", as it was used in the reconstruction of the HV line "TPP-6 — Perm." Cable lines are more reliable in operation than air, be protected from external weather conditions.
"Willow" will relieve the existing substation "Grachev," "Starekhi", "Balmoshnaya." Also, it will give an opportunity to provide electricity of a new neighborhood of the same name, where there is an active cottage development.
The energy from the substation, "Willow" will also be on the residential complex "Griboedovsky." In an area of 6.4 hectares, located at the intersection of Griboyedov and Uinsky, provides for the construction of nine 25-storey cast-frame houses tower total area of 109 thousand square meters of housing. Energy has also been applied to join the supply planned for construction of the complex of six seven-storey buildings at the intersection of Galanova and Uinsky.
In addition, the substation "Willow" will meet the growing demand for electric power in developing neighborhoods "Iva-5", "Arhiereyka", "Visim", "Fir needle."
