China bought Russian helicopters and engines for $ 1.3 billion

The People's Liberation Army of China in the past few months, the Russian Federation has acquired military equipment worth a total of 1.3 billion dollars, the newspaper "Vedomosti". All equipment purchased will be delivered in China by bands of "Rosoboronexport". According to the deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, in July China signed an agreement with Russia to supply 55 multi-role helicopters, Mi-171E. The official price of the contract were not disclosed, but, according to the managers who are familiar with the deal she made more than 600 million dollars. Deliveries helicopters will end in 2014.

In February of this year, China acquired in the Russian Federation 140 AL-31F engines for fighter Su-27/30. The amount of this transaction amounted to 700 million dollars.
