Violent storm in Brittany called blackout

About 6.5 thousand families were left without electricity in the north-west of France because of high winds and waves that struck Brittany. According to forecasters, the gusts of wind in the north Finistère department reached 105 kilometers per hour.

Wind gusts will intensify in the night of 16 December. In the western departments gusts can reach 110-130 kilometers per hour, while in other areas the wind speed can reach 100 kilometers per hour.
