The launch of this lab will not only deal with serious basic research to local scientists, but also to contribute to the launch of Saratov innovative high-tech manufacturing, and possibly the most flourishing industrial complex in the region.
Laboratory "metamaterials" — is a ground floor of the newest devices in the 8th housing SSU. While in Saratov has not yet received all the miracle machine, but by the summer of leadership in the face of the rector of the University of Leonid Kossovich plans to equip the space of the missing equipment.
A special pride of the laboratory — setting BLS, which is due to go to Saratov in April. It allows us to study the physics of wave processes in unique environments that are not found in nature.
