Rostov scientists have developed a telemedicine bracelets that allow using the built-in chip to track them via mobile patient's health, told RIA Novosti on Friday, the Rostov branch of OJSC "MTS" whose SIM-chips are used in bracelets.
Unique Russian development in the field of telemedicine was created of "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute" Gradient "and Rostov Research and Production Enterprise" Test ".
According to the source, created bracelet provides information about the pulse, blood pressure and other indicators of human activity. "Telemetry data from the device, using a built-in SIM-chip transmitted to the mobile communication network to the control center, where it is automatically processed, and in the case of a threat to the patient, medical staff transmitted signal", — said the spokesman of the operator.
Thus, according to him, the electronic systems can be used as a clock for the remote control of the health of patients in home care or in hospital, and for the monitoring of health of elderly people living alone.
Currently developed devices are tested.
